About
Melissa S. Jordan, CPA
Twenty years in accounting, twelve of them around the automotive industry, and a Florida CPA license. That combination is unusual, and it is most of the reason this practice exists.

Most small business owners do not have a bookkeeping problem. They have a clarity problem. The numbers exist somewhere: in a shoebox, a bank feed, a QuickBooks file nobody has reconciled since spring. But they are not in a shape that answers the question you actually have, which is usually some version of can I afford this?
That is the gap this practice was built to close. Not just clean books, but books that tell you something, kept by someone who can also file the return and explain what it means in plain language.
The automotive background came first: twelve years in an industry with genuinely strange accounting. Cores, flat-rate pay, parts margin, work sitting half-finished on a lift at month end. It taught a habit worth keeping: learn how the business actually runs before touching the books, because the books only make sense in that context.
These days that means shops, medical and dental practices, law firms, contractors, and consultants. All businesses where the owner is very good at the thing they do and would rather not spend Sunday night reconciling accounts.
Clear numbers. Confident decisions. More freedom. It is on the logo because it is genuinely the point.
